About
The engineer behind this blog #
I’ve spent years in the trenches of production infrastructure — 3am incidents, cascading failures, Kubernetes clusters that decided to have opinions at the worst possible time.
I’m Ramya Kolli, a Senior DevOps Engineer based in Bangalore. I’ve built and broken enough infrastructure to know what actually matters versus what looks good in an architecture diagram.
Why I started this #
Every junior engineer I’ve worked with hits the same walls. Not because they aren’t smart — they are. But because most DevOps content online is either too shallow to be useful, written by someone who read the docs but never ran this in production, or designed to sell you a course rather than solve your problem.
This blog is different. Everything here comes from real production experience.

Kubernetes — the errors that wake you up at night and exactly how to fix them
Terraform & IaC — real world patterns, not hello world examples
CI/CD — pipelines that actually work at scale
Cloud infrastructure — AWS, cost optimization, architecture decisions
Security — DevSecOps practices that actually get implemented
